My experience in National Peace Assembly was pretty much well. My Delegation was Council of State and I was in the comision of Narcotrafic. In my same comision there were 3 people of my same class that were Jhoan Gonzales and Santiago Rico of the delegation ELN and Daniel Matallana of the delegation United States. We started this experience with miss Adriana, socials teacher, when she gave us the manual of the model for us to know a little bit more about this. Then, in English class, with miss Libia, we shared the experience of being with Luisa Parra, one of the comision's president, who explained us much more about this. Like one week before the real model we had a rehearsal to know who our presidents would be and what we will have to do in the real model. They explained us so much things that we were confused but we understood it pretty well.
Thus,the real day arrived; In March 27th, 2009, we were so scared because the real model was going to start. Almost all of us we came with elegant clothes and with our portafolio, and we were prepared for this. We entered to the comisions and started the debate. My experience was really good, I didn't talk like all the time but I talk so much and with very good ideas. I was really happy with my work and with all my friends because all of us we had great ideas. I think I did pretty well in the model and I would like to have more preparation for UN model so that I can make it better. That was my really good experience at NPA and I would repeat it again.
